1. Chief commercial cum ticket supervisor –

Total Posts: 1736

Age Limit: 18-36 years (As on 01.01.2025)

Pay: Level 6 in 7th CPC

Educational Qualification: Graduation from recognized University or its Equivalent.

 

2. Station Master:

Total Posts: 994

Age Limit: 18-36 years (As on 01.01.2025)

Pay: Level 6 in 7th CPC

Educational Qualification: Graduation from recognized University or its Equivalent.

 

3. Goods Train Manager

Total Posts: 3114

Age Limit: 18-36 years (As on 01.01.2025)

Pay: Level 5 in 7th CPC

Educational Qualification: Graduation from recognized University or its Equivalent.

 

4. Junior Account Assistant Cum Typist:

Total Posts: 1507

Educational Qualification: Graduation from recognized University or its Equivalent. Proficiency in typing of English and Hindi. Computer knowledge is required.

Pay: Level 5 in 7th CPC

Educational Qualification: Graduation from recognized University or its Equivalent. Proficiency in typing of English and Hindi. Computer knowledge is required.

Process of Selection (RRB NTPC Posts):

The recruitment process has the following phases

  1. 1st phase CBT (Computer Based Test) examination
  2. 2nd phase CBT examination
  3. Typing test or Computer based aptitude test as per requirement
  4. Document Verification and Medical Test.

Note: Selection process will be based purely on merit basis.

 

1. 1st phase CBT (Computer Based Test) examination: 

Total Questions– 100

Question type– MCQs

Total Marks– 100

Time– 90 Minutes

Negative marking– Yes, 1/3 will be deducted for each wrong answer.

General Awareness: History of India/World, Games and sports, Indian culture, Politics, Economics, General science, Geography, World organizations, Basic concepts on computer and computer based applications, Important dates, Indian politics, Famous personalities, Abbreviations, Ecology, Environment science, Current affairs, Books and Prizes, Literature, Author of famous books, Transportation system in India, Technology and innovation etc.

General Mathematics: Number system, Fractions, Decimals, Ratio and proportions, LCM, HCF, Percentage, Time and work, Basic mathematical operations, Charts, Percentage, Time and distance, Interest, Profit and loss, Basic algebra, Trigonometry, Probability, Mensuration, Statistics etc.

Aptitude and Reasoning: Coding decoding, Mathematical operations, Venn diagrams, Similarities dissimilarities, Puzzle, Analogies, Statement -conclusion/courses of action, Decision making, Data interpretation etc.
